TNO Automotive (Netherlands) is coordinating the Integrated Project. The
project is organized in 9 sub-projects themselves organized in various
work packages. The first 7 technical sub-projects are focusing on one
type of accident each as follows:

SP4 - Motorcycles accidents
SP5 - Biomechanics
SP6 - Intelligent safety systems
SP7 - Virtual testing
SP8 - Training & innovation-related activities
SP9 - IP Management
Core Group
The Core Group has the overall responsibility of the Integrated Project.
It has responsibility with respect to all strategic issues of the project
and takes decisions with respect to implementation of the project’s
objectives and overall implementation of activities including integration
of these activities.
Tasks of the Core Group are:
- Defining and handling any intermediate calls for proposals in line
with the overall IP plan and when certain needs arise;
- When necessary e.g. due to technological breakthrough, adjusting
the content and direction of research in the IP;
- Handling any conflict resolution within the IP, which could not be
handled at a lower level;
- Approving dissemination and exploitation plans.
The Core Group meets four times a year and consists of the following
