Four countries provided information from in-depth databases (Germany(147 cases), The Netherlands(4), Greece(6), Spain(4)).
Most of the heavy truck front against passenger car side accidents appear to happen on rural roads with the highest lethality rate. From the in-depth data no conclusion can be drawn about the effectiveness of "Frontal Underrun Protection" systems.
